RE: A couple questions on SMI AFone

I did my own install on my HHR. It was fairly easy the hardest part was finding a place to tap the brake on feed back light into. I do not know why anyone would mount that light in the towed except it would not require running a wire up to the dash. Larry

RE: Air compressor replacement.

When was the last time you changed your air filter? It could just be it's saturated. These pumps will always pass a little oil just to keep them lubed. Larry

RE: Remote tire pressure/temperature monitoring

There are no systems out there that will alert you before a blow out. There are several systems that tell you low/high pressure and temp. I have 16 Pressure Pro sensors and have had no problems. I have had them alert me to low pressure in the mornings when it's cooler than when they were set. Larry

RE: FLYING J - Lansing, MI

Eric If you need fuel at the same time go anyplace else. FJ in Grand Ledge at best will be 15 cents higher and I have seen it at least 30 cents more than the one on the east side of the state. Larry

RE: What dinghy???

I do not think you can beat the Chevy HHR. It's an automatic towable 4 down weight as shipped on ours was 3080lbs and carries 5 with plenty of luggage room. I installed an SMI Airforce One brake. Larry

RE: Acme nut on Propane tank pigtail

it,s not the thread that is the problem. There is a brass seat or a rubber seal inside that is not sealing. Larry
